Curved walls, terraces, large openings and wide open rooms are some of the features, and challenges, of this exciting new wellness project – Be Well Barn – in Redlingfield, Suffolk.
A steel frame was used to create the large open spans required. To eliminate cold bridging the steel it was then wrapped with timber frame panels. We used glulam beams, internal stud work and metal web joists to complete the layout.
A fully boarded hand cut roof with feature trusses tops the building and ties the two frames together.
